Yesterday, my son, daughter-in-law, the 3 grand-kids and I went to McCall's Pumpkin Patch in Moriarty, New Mexico. I had never been to an event like this so I didn't know what to expect. It was a long ways east of Albuquerque, but worth the drive!! It was an awesome event! There was a 16 acre corn maze, a hay ride that took you out into the pumpkin fields to pick and choose your own pumpkins, a pumpkin cannon (very cool), a corn cannon for the kids to shoot (not bragging but my 7 year old grand-daughter hit 2 of 7 targets), mechanical bull challenge(nope, not me), slides, bouncy jumpers, pig races, train ride.... fun for all!!
We went out to the fields and grabbed 5 pumpkins and some gourds and headed back to the house. It was an afternoon of fun in the sun!!
