Well, this is interesting.

To check out how I am faring in Google, I use keywords "lebanon tn real estate". This usually gets just shy of 400K hits.  I have been really working to try to get my placement up in Google, with very weak results; too much of the first 3 pages is taken with HomeGain, Trulia, etc.  Usually my personal site does not even show up until page 12 or 13, despite my efforts.

However, I have noticed that now I rank on about page 3, and am the first individual Realtor listed, and it is a link to my ActiveRain home page. For this alone, I thank AR for increasing my exposure.

Now if I can just get my actual site on the first or second page.........

Steve, I just checked Lynchburg VA real estate and I'm the first agent who's not paying for placement to show up; and it's my activerain posts, not my website. I think the localism posts really help. Keep up the good work!
