Can you recommend a camera?

My beloved HP that was a gift from husband pooped out.  I need a new camera like yesterday!  He's too busy to research wide angles for me.

I've read here in the past that a lot of you use a Kodak, but the Kodak wide angles I've looked into do not have a flash.  I need a wide angle digital with a flash - reasonably priced.

You've probably been asked this a million times and I'm sorry I didn't pay attention to the answers.  But can anyone help me now?

Thanks, Joan

Joan - I LOVE my Nikon P50. It is very reasonable, I got it from Amazon for about $150 I think. It has a built in wide angle and flash you can turn on or off. You will definitely need to play with it and adjust the settings to what you like, but in my opinion it is the best camera I have bought for that price! Through Amazon it arrived in about a week.

Joan, I just posted a couple of blog posts about this that you should read:

and a related post on what software to use:

You can't go wrong with the Panasonic Lumix cameras - they are the best on the market and also some of the least expensive. They look cool, too.

Wow!  Thanks for the help.  Being without a camera is almost as bad as being without a computer.  Joan

I use a Nikon CoolPix P50.  I purchased it online for $150.  It has a wide angle lens - although not as wide as the Kodak, but there is a panoramic setting that stitches photos together that I use all the time.  For the money, it is a great little camera!

After research, I just bought the Panasonic Lumix FX35.  It's coming tomorrow!

I ordered the Panasonic Lumix FX35.  I never would have found it without everyone's help!  It will be here in a week and I can't wait.  I'm bummed that couldn't run out and pick it up in a store, but I'll survive.  Thanks, Joan

I've got the Kodak V750 the worlds smallest wide angle.  Does a great job in the day, but not so great at night.
