This blog has already started to sound like the beginning of a joke where two former Sellers meet in Heaven...but it is not.
We got a call over the weekend from a past Seller who began by thanking us for her new neighbor. A number of years ago, she and her husband had decided to downsize and move to a retirement community and we sold their home.
Recently, a new neighbor moved in next door and the conversation began referencing the experience each had with the Realtor who listed their home.
"We had the best Realtors....they helped us stage our house and went thru each room. They also gave us boxes and lists of contractors to help with some repairs and "sprucing" besides giving us places we could sell or donate the things we were not going to move," said the first former Seller.
"My Realtors suggested repairs and contractors...held just one open house and the house was sold with a closing date that worked best for me....and at a price over the list price !" boasted the second.
The comparisons continued with each trying to top the other with a service provide they felt went "above and beyond" the experience of the other.
The "Bragfest" continued for several minutes.....and finally they asked each other "WHO was the Realtor who sold your house ?"
They said....almost in unison.."Sally & David Hanson."
