Stop filling our boxes w/slander-printed material we're not reading it

Now that it’s election time once again a lot of people are asking me; “Who are you be voting for?”

I want to vote for someone who really cares about New Hampshire issues and the people living here. I don’t want to vote for someone who will be spending all their time in an office signing higher taxes (our taxes our high enough). I want to vote for someone who care about the little things as much as the big things; little things like littering which always gets passed on to someone else to take care of like the Board of Selectmen, who then passes it on to the Town Administrator, who then passes it on to the Public Works Department and with all the “passing of the buck” it never gets done. New Hampshire is a beautiful state and it really bothers me to drive around seeing litter on the sides of roads, when I could be admiring beautiful mountains instead.

Voting can be a difficult decision, and the candidates do not make it any easier with defaming each other’s character. Didn’t anyone ever tell them; “It’s better to build yourself up rather than trying to put others down, it only makes you look bad?” I for one would like to make a suggestion to the candidates: Stop filling our mailboxes with all the slander-printed material, we are not reading any of it! Instead of wasting millions of dollars on these postcards, donate the money to a worthy charity.

I don’t know who will win the election next month, but I have enjoyed seeing gas prices decrease in New Hampshire below $3/gallon (currently at $2.95/gallon) and I hope to see it continue to decrease all the way into 2015... now wouldn’t that be a wonderful way for the new candidates to begin the New Year?

I love Elections!  Gas has dropped about 80 cents a gallon here in Tallahassee.  Hope it stays that way, but I'm not crossing my fingers.

As for those negative postcards... they get recycled or re-purposed.

Fred Griffin I know what you mean, gas was over $4/gallon here in New Hampshire not that long ago, so I am loving the saving now and hope it continues. Maybe if we get the 'right' person in office it will...it doesn't hurt to think positive, right :) Thank you for your feedback and please continue to follow me on ActiveRain, I look forward to hearing from you again.
