“Do Your Current Clients Use the Internet?”

I am always amazed how many of my current clients say they saw one of my blogs. Each time that tells me, I want to keep myself in front of them, all the time.
I hadn’t really given this any thought until this past weekend. One of my past clients sent me a email, saying that it had been a few years since I handled a refinance for him and wanted to make arrangements to get together. He wanted to make arrangements to meet on Monday. So an appointment was scheduled.
During our meeting, he told me that he always saw my blogs in Linkedin and WordPress and that it was a constant reminder for him, that when he was going to purchase a new home, that he would be contacting me.
I handled the credit stuff and did a preapproval. He told me that he hadn’t yet decided on a Realtor, so I handled a referral for him. Since he wasn’t planning on living in the same area, so I also referred him to a Realtor in the area he was planning on moving.
Here’s the point, if you are in business today, are your clients seeing you, online? If not, when they are online, they might not remember you.
