They said it was a fad, they said it was a waste of time, they said no real customers would find you this way…they said this amounted to post and pray.
Well… I am still getting calls on blogs I posted in 2008.
Well… I still have customers and clients who found me due to my AR posts.
And yes…some blogs feel like a waste of time (so do many showings), but they only have to pay a dividend once in a while to be worth the effort.
In the early days I posted 30+ blogs a month, now I’ll lucky to put up 2 or 3. What those numbers don’t tell you is I have gotten busy, so busy in fact that blogging doesn’t get on my marketing radar screen as much as it used to…unless I have a new listing that I want to splash on-line – right now!

Seven years of increased exposure, recognition, and greater sales volume…year after year.
I will remain a slave ... so long as this keeps working, I will keep blogging on Activerain.
How many of you do paper ads just because your seller’s insist? I like to write a blog and send them the link…this is a more effective marketing tool than the Sunday Classifieds. You could never afford to say so much and share so many photos in print…as you can in a blog.
One last thing I will freely admit - I don't encourage other Realtor in my Market to do this. I don't try to recruit - I don't rave to them about this platform... I'm selfish and like the results for me...so lets keep this our little secret...OK ??
