Junko Otsu will once again delight art lovers with her whimsical works of art on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Junko's paintings transport the viewer to imaginary places filled with vibrant color. Her versatile style of painting, including realism, impressionism, cubism and soft abstract elements, leads to extraordinary compositions.
My favorite series of paintings are Junko's Wonderland Series and her Jazz Player Series. The exaggerated depictions of the jazz musicians, bring the characters to life. One can see the movement of the musicians and almost hear the music.
