This was my week to tour communities tailored towards active adult homebuyers...On Tuesday I went over to K.Hovananian Builder's Four Seasons at Elm Tree, located in Mount Joy right off route 283.

The Tour was hosted by Margaret Bull & Loretta Mazzenga, K.Hovnanian's onsite representatives.  After a meeting to bring everyone up to speed on the programs offered to the Lancaster adult communities buyers, we toured the 3 gorgeous models.  Here are just a few of the images I captured while moving through the models:

After touring the models with Margaret and Loretta, we stopped over at the $2 million dollar clubhouse - complete with everything you'd expect: huge pool, gameroom, a massive lounge, exercise room and outdoor courts for example.

Four Seasons at Elm Tree has 6 base model homes, with many potential upgrades available.  You get to pick your materials for interior and exterior at the sales office, where samples of everything are available and helpful staff at hand to assist you.

Home prices start at $200,000 for the Ardsley base model, which is a little over 1,300 square feet.  The Captiva Loft, the largest model, starts at $295,500.  Basements are available as well.  The community association owns the land around each home, and the owner owns the land immediately beneath the home's footprint.  As a result, the $138 per month association fee covers just about everything!  Imagine sitting on your porch watching them mow your grass yet again...
