Get your Christmas list ready, the Nutcracker Market opens next Thursday! For many of us in the Houston area it has become an annual kick-off to the holiday shopping season. For those of you that are new to the area or new to the event, the Nutcracker Market is a huge shopping event put on by the Houston Ballet. This year they are featuring over 300 national and international merchants that are chosen for unique offerings in anything from home decor to gourmet food, clothing and toys. The proceeds from the Market benefit the Houston Ballet Foundation, Houston Ballet's Ben Stevenson Academy and its scholarship funds.
The Nutcracker Market will be held at the Reliant Center and will run from Thursday, November 13th through Sunday November 16th. It will be open from 10am-8pm on Thursday and Friday and from 10am-6pm Saturday and Sunday. You can buy discounted tickets at Randalls for $15. They are available now (you can buy them before the even starts). Admission at the door is $16 and children under 2 are free.

FYI: They do not allow strollers, carts, rolling bags or wagons at the market. They do have a place to check them in if you would like to bring them for use getting to and from your car.
