I believe this photo was taken before our First Communion, I think I was six maybe seven. First Communion dresses have changed a lot over the years, they're still white but other than that.... From the left me, our father Bob and my sister Sandy. Time really does fly. Thinking of you and praying for you Dad.
Nancy I believe you just inspired me to do my first Throwback Thursday post:)Endre

Hi Nancy -- a great submission for TBT --- our childhoods provide so many signficant memories since there seem to be many "firsts" in our lives.

Many Thanks to you all for stopping by and commenting. I've really enjoyed looking through so many old family photos to come up with a few to share. It's been a real blessing I hadn't counted on.
To paraphrase James Earl Jones from "Field of Dreams" --- sometimes the memories are so thick I have to brush them away from my face.
I love being an inspiration Endre Barath, Jr.
Bob Crane as I remember we had been waiting for this big event for quite a while, and I was very happy with my dress.
Michael Jacobs I had forgotten how excited I was, back then it was a big deal.
Sharon Parisi I'm so glad my mother and grandmother kept these photos. They are precious indeed.

Laura Allen, Lake Tahoe - Truckee Real Estate for Sale www.TahoeLauraLuxuryHomes.com - no I can't believe, when I look at the photos it seems like it happened just a few years ago.
Barbara Todaro I'm sure we weren't angels but my Mom tried hard to make us look like angels.
Joe Petrowsky you're so right, memory is a gift and a blessing we don't truly understand until later in life.

I have never understood the veil and white dress communion get ups, but had one myself.
Hi Nancy, These are memories that mean so much and thanks for sharing one of yours with us.
Nancy, I think my first communion veil looked just like yours! Very cute picture!
