My Grandmother Bruno is from England and would often speak of high tea with her girlfriends when she was a teenager. I 've always imagined my beautiful grandma dressed up with her lipstick and her hair all done sipping tea with her friends. How fun I would always think to myself!
Well today I was fortunate enough to experience sipping on tea with friends just like my grandmother. I went to the Victorian Rose where they serve Tea and organic coffee with fresh homemade scones, muffins, croissants, quiche, and a wonderful pecan cinnamon roll. Unbelievable! Everything was so yummy and fresh. I spoke with Kathleen the owner and she informed me that everything is made from scratch. She also uses organic products when ever she is able. The table were set up with lovely linens, candles, flowers, plates and pretty tea cups that made your little pinkie finger go up naturally. It is so charming and warm inside you have a hard time leaving.
The Victorian Rose is open for breakfast and lunch Monday - Friday. She does serve on the weekends by reservations only.
