There are lots of great deals in Michigan foreclosures right now.  Banks are wanting to unload them and they are pricing them right to move them.

I was out today looking for an out of state investor.  They want to buy 20 homes under $50000 in the next few months.  Some of the homes I was looking at were very nice and some were in very good neighborhoods.  Two years ago it was very hard to find homes under $75,000 unless they were in war torn neighborhoods.  Now with banks wanting to unload Michigan foreclosures you can find some great deals. 

Here are a few examples I found today.  An 1100 square foot bungalow in Garden City for $55,000.  A 1695 square foot home in Dearborn Heights for under $60,000.  These are good deals.  Some of them only need paint and carpeting to make them rentable.  These homes could provide positive cash flow right away.

There are many things you need to be aware of when buying a Michigan foreclosure.  Be sure to use an experienced agent that guide you around the pitfalls of "as is" homes.  You should ALWAYS HAVE A PROFESSIONAL INSPECTOR DO A HOME INSPECTION.  Always check the comparables out for the neighborhood!  Today I was doing a pre run thru for my client who is flying in from out of town on Monday.
