We stopped going to the beach early, as the sun comes up later, and the air is in the 60s at night, so we wait till the sun brings it to nice high 70s - low 80s…
The water in the ocean is still warm, but not as much for Floridians, who stop swimming in the ocean when it is less than 77F.
And it is unbelievably quiet. The busy season is over, rare tourists stroll the streets and the beach. Few cars at hotels, fewer cars on the roads.
I truly believe this is the best time of the year. Still warm, nice, relaxing…
It is Florida at its best.
