Welcome to Cape Coral!
Crossing the Cape Coral Bridge from Ft Myers to Cape Coral will probably leave you with your mouth agape. The beauty of the water glistening from the sun’s rays combined with the boats and picturesque homes along the water is quite a site to see.
As soon as you get to the end of the bridge you’ll want to take a right and stop at the Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center located at 2051 Cape Coral Parkway E.
The Welcome Center is located in the same location as Bernice Braden Park--10 acres of grass on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. You’ll have to bring a chair or blanket if you want to sit but if you’ve been traveling this is a great place to stretch your legs.
The Welcome Center is staffed with knowledgeable residents and has a host of handouts. One that you should pick up for sure is simply entitled ‘Cape Coral’. It is the official publication of the Chamber of Commerce and contains a wealth of information about the city. Another one is the ‘Cape Coral Parks & Recreation Program Guide’. There is also information regarding the New Resident’s Club and the Social Club.
Welcome to Cape Coral!
Definitely make it a point to stop in at the Chamber of Commerce one day and take a few minutes to enjoy the view from the park.
