Recently I was interviewed for an article in Hudson Valley Magazine. The article is entitled

You did a wonderful job of attacking the "nitty-gritty" All the things that we know, but consumers need to hear over again. WOW! you didn't miss a beat! You are a great marketer, for sure!

Maureen, Terrific. I was a big fan of the mag when we lived in Orange County. I hope you get a lot of business form the publicity. Your work is fabulous. Are you the only stager mentioned??

Bevin - I was pleasantly surprised.

Ginger - I was the only stager mentioned so that was good, but they did not give out my contact info so that was a bummer.

Hey Guys - I spend lot of time educating the public. I do library programs, seminars for realtors and a 3 hour continuing ed class for realtors. It is a lot of work but I found that advertising home staging when no one knows what it is doesn't really help.

The other day someone asked me if the term Home Stager was a new euphemism for housewife. You just can't make this stuff up. :)

Your work represents the staging industry so well. Congrats- just that one bedroom transformation says so much about the good investment of staging.

Hi Maureen - Congratulations on the interview, and I hope that it not only raises awareness about Home Staging in general, but generates business specifically for you. Just based upon your commitment to AR it is quite obvious that you are extremely hard-working, devoted to your profession, and enjoy what you do. I cannot believe that someone actually thought Home Stager was a new name for a Housewife. Kind of scary.
