No pictures today of the remodeling project at my home. Did I run out of film? Did I forget? Was there so much dust on the lens that I couldn't see? Nope to all of these. The answer is that not much happened yesterday.
There is a natural (Un-natural?) ebb and flow to a project this large. The logistics of getting all the trades in and out at the right times means there will be times when no one is present. That was yesterday, almost.
I did notice that the dry wall guy had been to the house. I could tell by the fresh coat of dust on the kitchen floor and the pieces of dried dry wall mud left on my carpet. The shower tile guy came and finished sealing the master shower. It is now ready for phase 2, measuring for the glass surround and door. This should occur today and the glass should be ready mid next week for installation.
I noticed this morning that the neat under cabinet lights in the kitchen did not turn on when I flipped the switch this morning. So, add this to the list. There seems to be about 2-3 full days of work left for the kitchen to be complete. Hopefully they will show today and get some work done. Tomorrow is supposed to be the day the appliances are delivered. If you can't tell, I am sooo ready for this work to be done. Hopefully by the end of this month we will be mostly done and will be able to sit back and enjoy our home.
