Our beloved Brookside shopping district is kicking off the 2014 holiday season with it's Holiday Season Opener tomorrow evening, Nov 13 from 6-9pm at Brookside Blvd and 63rd St. This is a great time to get into the holiday spirit, strolling the streets and checking out the store specials, admiring the window displays and getting a jump on your shopping.
Brookside area school choirs will serenade shoppers under the tent, while The Roasterie and Michael Forbes Grill provide complimentary coffee and hot chocolate. Bring gently used coats and sweaters to World's Window and you'll get a 20% discount on purchases--the store is again collecting outerwear for Rose Brooks Center.
