Solanco Historical Society will present a program titled
"Colonel Guy Haines Stubbs
Memoirs of a WWII
POW Survivor"
The program will be presented by Peg Stubbs Showalter, the niece of Colonel Stubbs. Stubbs was serving in the Army in the Philippines when the Japanese captured the islands in 1942. Colonel Stubbs survived the Bataan Death March and was imprisoned in several POW camps.
The Historical Society is located at 1932 Robert Fulton Highway (Route 222) Quarryville, PA
