On some days there are more Buyers than other days.
Top selling seasons differ in various areas of the country, and the climate has a lot to do with it. For instance, late spring through early fall are the major listing seasons in many areas, particularly in south central Pennsylvania. Houses are inclined to “show” better in those months than they do in the heat of the summer or the cold of the winter. It seems people like to do their shopping when the weather is pleasant.
Even though seasonality seems to make a difference in the market, keep in mind, the competition will be greater in the late spring through early fall, so you may have an “edge” by selling in the “off” season, when the inventory is less. If a buyer is serious and motivated, they have no cares about the time of year. Remember, it only takes one buyer to successfully sell a house!
In reality there are buyers out there 365 days a year.
