There is a grand misconception about VA Loans and how they work. Did you that every single Veteran can qualify for a VA Loan unless they've been dishonorably discharged? This includes if you have been Medically Discharged, A reservists that has at least 6 years of reservists duty OR at least 90 days of active duty while serving in the reserves as well as an Un-Married Surviving Spouse of a Military Veteran that lost his/her life in their service to our Great Nation? Its true! If fall under one of the items listed above, you qualify for a VA Loan. Did you know your FICO Score only needs to be a minimum of 600? Some "lenders" may require 620 so you can receive a better rate, but 600 is the minimum. For those Active Duty right now, did you know your Basic Allowance for Housing can be used as Income towards the purchase of a home? IE,  if you're receiving $1500 is allowance, you can actually pocket what you don't use on your mortgage?
