During this time of the year, we can take a day or two and look back or reflect on what we've done and see if there's something we can change - whether it's your salary, listing totals, amount of transactions, etc. Whatever the case may be - we always want to be or do better!
So when you're reflecting on what you did - think about this question: "Is there something I could have done different or better?"
Because I believe that when we become different than the normal or average person or even better than those that are just moving along in life, then you will see change in yourself as well as in your numbers, salary, etc.
Sometimes it's the littlest and smallest thing that really matters. I've found that when you show people you really care and do for them - those are the ones that will brag and motivate you to do and become better!
Here are some ways to show others (and it doesn't have to be someone you know):
Go visit an Assisting Living Home - take someone shopping - or find a need and fill it.
Go visit a Nursing Home and just spend a few minutes with someone.
Call around to the different Assisting Living Homes in your area, speak to a Director or Administrator - You will be surprised to find out just how many of their residents don't have family members - Adopt someone and become their new friend.
Find out who's in your neighborhood that may need some help or if there's an elderly person that may be spending these next two holidays by themselves. Invite them over or take them a plate of food! We should always try to find a need and fill it - It will make you feel different and better!
