The Many Faces of Brunswick MD Real Estate. Variety of Styles and Prices.
Like many towns on the outskirts of D.C., Brunswick was settled along the Potomac River as a stop on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. In those days, the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal was an active route for hauling cargo and folks to an from Washington D.C. north to trading towns along the canal. The B & O Railroad built a six mile long rail yard in 1891-1912 and settlers followed.
"Today Brunswick is home to a commuter rail station serving Washington, D.C., and is also home of the Brunswick Railroad Museum that shows the history of the city, and is home of a large model railroad showing why the city's location was important to the railroad." wikipedia.org
