Lewisburg WV Farmers Market
The Lewisburg Farmers Market will hold its last outdoor market of the season on Saturday, November 22, 2014. The weather is suppose to be nice with temps in the mid 50s. So come out to the Farmers Market and stock up on fresh local meat, produce and sweet treats for the holidays.
But don't worry.... an indoor winter farmers market, called the "Wild and Wonderful Winter Farmers Market", opens at the Fairgrounds in the Gus Douglas Building starting on December 6, 2014 through March 2015.
Besides Greenbrier County, there will be vendors from five other counties at the winter farmers market and the vendors will have a full-certified kitchen to use, and a large double door commercial cooler. So, there will be MORE food at the winter farmers market to buy.... I can smell the cinnamon rolls and cheese cake made by Nancy and Steve Wardwell...soups, baked breads and so much more. There will be a coffee vendor serving cappuccino, lattes, espresso, etc at the winter farmers market.
Come out tomorrow, Saturday, Nov 22nd for the last outdoor market of the season! And, remember the indoor winter farmers market opens at the Fairgrounds in the Gus Douglas Building starting on Dec 6, 2014 where you can stay warm and enjoy the intriguing array of fruits and vegetables that winter has to offer, and of course all the sweets!
