More plug-in spots for electric car owners on Maui
With more and more people on Maui owning electric cars, the options for charging are looking better all the time. Today there will be 2 new charging stations at the Whole Foods Market in the front of the Maui Mall in Kahului. Currently there are also 2 stations at Whaler's Village in Kaanapali. These aren't the only options, as I see them in other places, such as Costco. Plug in for a couple of hours while shopping or watching a movie.
Volta Industries of Honolulu is supplying this service, and the sponsors are American Savings Bank and Rising Sun Solar.

Did you know that electric cars can park in metered parking spaces for free? That's what I read in the story by Pacific Business News. Read the full story here.
Search for homes for sale in the central area of Kahului and Wailuku Maui. If you lived in Kahului it would be really easy to charge up your car and drive home!
