The Alameda Family Service Holiday Home Tour is back for its 44th year. The 2014 tour is set for Saturday, December 13, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. You have the entire day to bask in the holiday beauty. There are five charmingly decorated homes to tour, a gift boutique with holiday jewelry and gifts to please your family and friends and a gourmet shop with bakery delights, raffle prizes and scrumptious holiday dessert tea.
The Gift Boutique will be at the Alameda Elks’ Lodge and will feature handcrafted items, unique gift items including photography, delicious foods, collectibles, hand stitched gifts, jewelry, gift baskets, holiday decor children books, soaps and candle and much more.
The Gourmet Shop also at the Elks’ Lodge will provide a wonderful array of gourmet and fresh baked treats in lovely holiday wrapping. There are holiday goodies for your pets, too. A Texas-Style auction will feature edibles and other gift items adding to the festive fun.
And to cap the day's events, the Holiday Tea will feature a delicious tea with delicate tea sandwiches, scrumptious cookies and music. The Tea will be held at the First Presbyterian Church at Santa Clara Avenue and will be served from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
