Recently we were driving through the streets of York PA on a weekend and happened upon this church with a ladder way up high. Now we know work has to be done on all buildings over the years, but what a sight this must be to see someone working so high with a ladder and ropes. Below is the full photo.
Your title got my attention. I can't imagine the upkeep on that wonderful old building. I have an older house and the plumbing is always failing me. That's all I can deal with. LOL.

Debbie Laity I can't imagine the upkeep either! I hear you. Older houses have much charm but at a cost usually. We have an older fixer upper we are upgrading, but luckily it has a newer roof!

Keith Landis it is quite amazing the things people have to do to make a living!
It takes guts for someone to go up that ladder. Apparently when the church steeple was being constructed, nobody put much thought into having to go up there for any reasons. It looks dangerous to me!!!
