Palm Beach Gardens’ homes at Mirabella have seen a moderate price increase since the housing market bottomed in 2011.
At the end of November, 2014, prices had increased about 10 percent over the past three years, a bit more moderate than can be found in many other communities. This means that prices should still be attractive to buyers looking for a newer home in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens.
Through nearly 11 months of 2014 there were 33 homes sold in Mirabella averaging $189 per square foot. That compare with 30 homes sold in 2011 averaging just $170 per square foot. The number of distressed homes – short sales or foreclosures – in Mirabella may be one reason that prices have increased less than in other communities. In 2011 there were five short sales completed in Mirabella and in 2014 there was one foreclosure that sold.
Built between 2002 and 2006, Mirabella is a community of about 500 homes tucked away on Jog Road just south of Hood Road and north of Mirasol. The homes are well constructed with a variety of floor plans in one and two story models. Many of the homes back onto large lakes.
Some residents have added swimming pools to their homes and some sections of the community boast large yards. The neighborhood has a large community and fitness center plus a pool and tennis courts providing recreational and meeting space for all ages. Most residents at Mirabella are year 'round and you will find young families, professionals, empty nesters and retirees within its gates.
At the end of November, 2014 there were seven homes on the market in Mirabella ranging in price from $429,500 to $749,900.
