I've got so MUCH to be thankful about this week, I'm about to burst!!! Many of you may know my daughter, Sarah, struggles with Muscular Dystrophy. I am a big supporter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and they are coming to "lock me up" December 10th. It's a way to raise money for the association and it really helps. Well, a local online newspaper for Coral Springs wrote an article on the event and we are getting all kinds of support! My daughter and I are thrilled! Hopefully we can raise the kind of money that will make a difference. Here's the article if you'd like to take a look.
Secondly, my beautiful niece gave birth to their first child last night. A baby girl! Ariel Mayah Morgan. You see, last year at this time, she was nine months along with her first pregnancy and lost the baby. This was devastating. We all felt the sting of that one. Needless to say, Thanksgiving was a tough one. But here we are! One year later!! And ta-dahh!! Mommy and baby are doing great! And we are all celebrating.
Third but not least is my brother Gary. He is getting married today. At the ripe age of 53. First time for him to find "True Love" and the meaning of! For years I wondered if he would find it. I would watch him live his life alone. And there's nothing wrong with that if you choose that road but I knew he wanted someone to share his dinners, movies and life with. And he found her! In the name of Sonja! She is sweet and I'm glad she will be a part of our Family. So you see, today I am giving Thanks! Thanks for all the good in my life and things to come. If you've got something to be grateful for shout it out! Don't hesitate. Life is short and what are you waiting for?!
