Do you talk to yourself....Here is how its done?

Check out your "self-talk."

Jim Stovall says, "The only sales job you will ever have to do is to yourself."

Are you sold on you?  Your own self abilities?

Bruce Burton noted that: "Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared to believe that something inside them was superior to circumstance."

Examine yourself.  Are you be thinking, reading, and speaking a hope-filled language or a hopeless one?  What are you saying to yourself?  "I can do this" or "I'll manage"?

To have HOPE, you must talk to yourself ... continuously ... ever changing.  As psychologist Stephen Covey points out, "Our behavior is a function of our decisions, not our conditions."

If your having a hard time talking to yourself, Memorize this.  Professor Ben Stein's does.  "It is inevitable that some defeat will enter even the most victorious life.  The human spirit is never finished when it is defeated.  It is finished when it surrenders."  And ... I will not surrender.

As Vincent Van Gogh said, 'Great things are not done by impulse but by a series of small things brought together'."

My favorite is scriptual, Phil.4 :13 " I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

Lu, We always have that second conversation going on with ourselves. You can move foward when you accept it and learn to control it. Great passage

I talk to myself, and I take my advice. No one knows me the way I know me.

I talk to myself all the time - I think everyone does. I try to fill it with positive as much as possible. I use the 3 second rule for negative thoughts. After 3 seconds replace it with something positive.

At the local business expo this weekend I got a sheet of compliments for kids and I find myself using them on myself as a peptalk! It's been fun.

Right on!  I talk to myself all of the time too.  I thought this was to help me stay focused!
