Three days before Thanksgiving 2014, and the temperature soared up near 70. Jackets were not necessary and people in Monroe NY ran to appointments in short sleeves. Two days later, the day before Thanksgiving, and the streets and trees in Monroe NY are covered with a thick blanket of wet snow and snow continues to fall. Winter 2014 has arrived a wee bit early. Ho ho ho.
Hey Kat oh my goodness that is the exact opposite of what we got out here! Supposed to be close to 70 tomorrow!?!?!?
Happy Thanksgiving
It's roller-coaster weather Kat. My girls were super excited when it started snowing this morning. But not much stuck around here.
The picture looks beautiful though (isn't it funny how it does that in November or December? Come January it starts to look less and less appealing until you just want to paint your screen green by March).
Happy Thanksgiving!
Jeff - I know, it's been a bit crazy in the east!
Debbie - Thank you! It was actually warm so shoveling wasn't a big problem.
David - Wow,that's great! (About the 70). Enjoy!
Andrea - Ha, you are so right. By January the snow is NOT so pretty. Blech.
Kat, stay warm and dry and I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
A simply gorgeous picture, Kat... but certainly one more for the upcoming Christmas and New Years holidays!
