Totally Redesign Your Active Rain Blog - This is Amazing!

By
Real Estate Agent with Dakno Marketing

Update: April 6th at 6:30pm - I just rolled out a new approach that makes it even easier to customize your ActiveRain blog - and it plays nice with all of AR's pages. Click here for details

Update: April 5th at 8:30am - As many of you may know, I recently discovered a way to totally redesign your ActiveRain blog. At 2:30AM I was contacted by Bob Stewart of ActiveRain asking me to remove this post. As a result, I have removed all of the styling that changed the look of this post (see screenshot below). In their defense, he raised a good point. There are pages on ActiveRain that shows a number of posts from different users. If multiple users have these "styled" blogs, it could cause a mess.

I will be speaking with him today and hope to work out a solution that will resolve that issue. I will keep you guys updated. I have attached a screenshot below so you can see what is possible with your ActiveRain blog. Please comment on this post to encourage AR to leave this flexibility in place!

You can see live examples here and here. I ask that you not implement this until I have a chance to speak with Bob from ActiveRain.

Below is the original post

Guess What. You are still on the ActiveRain website! Take a look at the address bar.

It turns out that ActiveRain gives you amazing flexibility in customizing your existing ActiveRain blog! It’s just that no one has taken advantage of it. Ready to customize your own ActiveRain blog? I thought you might, so I wrote a detailed tutorial on how you can do it (for free). I posted the tutorial on my Dakno Blog

I don't like it....it's super clever (Brad you're awesome at what you do)...BUT just because we can doesn't mean we should....don't let people mess up this nice, clean, organized, eye appealing screen I've come to love....activerain....

Brad, thanks for putting this info out there.  We may not have the time to use it to its full potential, but it's good to have nonetheless.

Brad,

Thanks for a WONDERFUL tool.  With the help of Jeff Turner's video lesson on perfecting the right photo and your Blog Customizer, I have had a lot of fun changing the look of my BLOG.  Now I need to spend some time actually writing in it.

Keep up the good work.

Great Blog!!!

Don't Cry.

Now is the time to re-educate clients. Thirty four states in 2007 had a drop in forclosures. Three states are distorting & throwing off the national curve (CA, FL, AR) The market is starting to stabalize. Now is the time to buy the investment property & get off the side lines.

Thanx.
