Come join in the holiday spirit with the entire family! Roswell’s annual lighting of Historic Town Square will take place on Saturday, December 6th.
The celebration begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014 and includes performances by the Hillside Elementary singers, the River Eves Choir, and the Esther Jackson Chorus followed by a special reading of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas with Mayor Jere Wood.
Santa Claus will also make a special visit to the Square from the North Pole. Pictures with Santa will be available at a nominal charge. Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa by Starbucks or coffee during the festivities.
Immediately after the lighting of the square, take the holiday shuttle to the Adult Recreation Center to shop for gifts at Santa’s Secret Gift Shop. The Gift Shop is located at 830 Grimes Bridge Road. Children ages 12 and younger can shop. Activities include button making, balloons, coloring and more.
On Saturday, you can park at the Adult Recreation Center and ride the holiday bus for FREE! to the lighting of Town Square. Shuttle starts at 4 p.m.
Pictures available with Santa on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Gifts at affordable prices and proceeds benefit the Roswell Ramblers Senior Club. Concessions available.
