Oogling Google, new goods for those who love freebies

They say, "Nothing free is worth having".  Well, I disagree, because the internet has plenty of free tools, and I am all about using those to the best of my abilities and advantage.

Now, they aren't really free, because I have to invest the time to make them work for my business.  But at least the outlay of zero helps to deflect the cost of time.

That said, check out these new google updates that have me doing the happy dance.

Are you internationally hooked up?  Google's got your back.  You can now collaborate online using Google Docs in 48 languages.  How's that for working in a global economy?  Also great for the diverse real estate and consumer base right here in North America.

If you love spreadsheets, here's lookin' at you kid. Google docs might just be the answer.  You can allow people to collaborate on your spreadsheets with you and be notified by email of changes.  I am not a connoisseur of the art of spreadsheets (or the love of it for that matter) but can appreciate Google's latest move in combining their API Gallery of Widgets to interface with Spreadsheets.  To much tech talk, go see for yourself.  They are basically allowing a picture to tell a thousand words in many non-bland ways.

It's the mac n cheese of spreadsheets for your inner kid creative soul.

And most recently, the crew at Google Docs has released news that's got me over the moon.  Over the next few weeks they will be rolling out offline access to Google Docs.  Woo hoo, that's all I need to ditch my many versions of Microsoft software.

And the upgrade versions are free:-)

If you wanna know the many ways that Google can help your business visit this post.

Happy Friday, Happy Freebie, Happy Google Doc'ing.

**  And here's a bonus, the graphic at the beginning of this post is just one of 26 images created by Staging Girl Audrey Hoffman and available for the Use of A/R community members.  Check out her post today,"Friday Freebie, Stage your Blog Clip Art".**

Michael- It is well worth the time you invest.

Eugene- I'll have to check out Fran's posts.  I have a love affair with Google Docs if you can't tell- lol.

Kathy-  This tool is so worth it.  I have also recently begun using the "Edit in HTML" feature for my blogging.  Just incredible how many things this software does for me.:-)
