The money we are fundraising for will help Dave and I pay for an Outreach which is where a Son-Rise teacher will come to our house and work with us, the boys and any volunteers we have to make H&G's therapy program as best as it can be. Henry & Grayson's Son-Rise Fund

Henry and Grayson are our beautiful, caring, energetic 3 year old twin boys. In July of 2013 both boys were diagnosed with autism. My wife Susannah and I immediately began searching for the best treatment options available and that is when we found out about the Son-Rise® Program offered by the Autism Treatment Center of America. Within 3 weeks of the diagnoses we traveled to attend the Son-Rise® Start-Up Program which completely changed the way we will view our sons’ condition forever. The principles of limitless potential, teaching through motivation and deep appreciation and respect for your child that are so pervasive in the program have taught us so much about these children and ourselves!
Despite their challenges, Henry and Grayson want to be just like any other boys their age. Using the principles of acceptance and relationship building over the past year we’ve seen these boys progress from what was once a state of solitude to one that craves social interaction. The program has shown us that the most effective way to connect with these boys is by entering into their world before showing them the way out.
The Son-Rise® Program is built on utilizing your child’s motivation and teaching through interactive play in order to build a foundation for education and skill acquisition. The Son-Rise® Program teaches us how to not only accept Henry and Grayson’s repetitive behaviors but to join them in their world in order to connect and develop a social relationship.
We have now completed two of the Son-Rise® programs offered by The Autism Treatment Center of America but Henry and Grayson’s Son-Rise® journey has just begun. By taking part in the Maximum Impact and Outreach programs we can take this program to the next level; building on Henry and Grayson’s social interaction to further educate and develop essential life skills.
Creating this fund is something we never thought we would have to do but the progress we have seen so far has inspired us to forge ahead in order to get the very most out of what the Son-Rise® Program has to offer. To do so, we need your help! All of your kind donations will go towards funding our Son-Rise® journey of recovery!
