In late November 2014, Brad Andersohn, Educator for Many 'Rainers, announced a Career Change. We knew Brad from the internet education he shared with us when he worked at ActiveRain and from his posts after he moved to Zillow to run the Zillow Academy" there. He is leaving that job at Zillow. A quote from Brad will tell us more about his career move later in this post.
Brad taught so many of us at at ActiveRain for years. As an Internet Educator since 1986, Brad Andersohn, Educator for Many, demonstrated how to use the internet for our personal real estate success in the future.
Not only in technical ways but also in personal ways, Brad Andersohn, Educator for Many has been one of my most favored teachers. His lessons are clearly stated and his patience is always appreciated. He sets the tone of positivity as he interacts with others.
For example, in his AR Profile he stated: "People may forget your name, they may even forget what you've said, but they'll never forget how you made them feel! One never knows the road you'll end up on in life, so continue the quest, seek God's will and do what's right, make a difference in the world, and most of all, enjoy the journey! "Build your Castles and Mansions on PEOPLE, they are the strongest foundations on the earth!"
All of Brad's lessons - personal and business - have benefitted me, that's for sure. I love his attitudes about personal relationships. I owe much of my facility online to his classes. Check out Brad's posts on ActiveRain for lots to learn. As examples, his post about Google business tools; online free photo sites; social media buttons and adding PDF files to a Blog or Website - just to highlight a few.
A N D - - - Brad Andersohn, Educator for Many, set up a special website for everyone to use as a resource after classes and webinars ended. bradsdomain.com offers TONS of resource material.
Brad is leaving his latest position at Zillow - Here's his announcement:
“This may come as a surprise or shock to some... I am no longer with Zillow.
"The new restructure of the company does not include my role as their National Outreach Manager or as the Director and trainer at Zillow Academy so we have parted ways. I've enjoyed my time, travels and experience at Zillow and I come away with many new great relationships and some very special memories.
"I'm honored to have helped build and witness first-hand the growth of Zillow.
"I feel blessed and fortunate that for the past four years I have been able to do what I absolutely love doing most which is helping people, more specifically the real estate industry. Zillow fully supported my vision and goal for providing free real estate training and education. They also helped equip me with tools and systems needed to deliver this type of support to the industry. It's been a worthy and rewarding ride.
"Zillow has been good to me. I am thankful and have no regrets.
"As new opportunities begin to surface and as new doors open, I must move onward and upward with great anticipation of exciting times yet to come. Thank you ALL for the love and support you have shown me and my family over the many years, you have enriched our hearts and lives in so many ways. We are forever grateful.
"I welcome and humbly look forward to what the future has in store, and I sincerely wish each of you continued blessings and an abundance of success. God Bless!”
Brad, speaking for myself and for many others here on ActiveRain and elsewhere -
Wishing you the very best and waiting to hear about what you do next!
Have a great day -
Lynn
