Hood River Solar Village

I have been watching this development getting started on Belmont St. in Hood River and now I know what it is. It is called Hood River Solar Village and the development plans to build eight all electric energy producing homes designed to run off the power of the sun. The homes are priced starting at $329,500 for 1460 sq. ft. with appr. 3 bdrms, 3.5 baths.

Hi Amy - this indeed looks interesting! 4000W solar combined with a very efficient home and energy star appliances could indeed combine to make a zero net energy home! How hot would that be!!!
