The Middlesex United Way, along with the Middletown, CT Police Department, and Esca Restaurant in downtown Middletown will be participating a Holiday Social & Stuff-A-Cruiser At Esca Restaurant On December 12th. The Holiday Social & Stuff-A-Cruiser is to provide Christmas Gifts for Middletown, CT elementary school children. Elementary schools in Middletown will be submitting wish lists students have put together, and hoping to fill. So far the wish lists include:
- Minecraft items and accessories
- Legos
- Rainbow Loom kits, tools and accessories
- Sports equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, etc.)
- Diaries
- Board games or card games
Anyone who would like to give a gift but does not have the time to shop can give a credit, debit, or cash donation instead. Also if a gift in the amount of $15-$25 is purchased at Amato's Toy & Hobby just a few doors down from Esca Restaurant on Main Street, Amato's will do a match gift.
The Holiday Social & Stuff-A-Cruiser At Esca Restaurant On December 12th is a great way to make Christmas a little more special for a Middletown, CT elementary school child. Hopefully many Police Cruisers will be stuffed on Friday, and those providing gifts will consider purchasing their gift at Amato's Toy & Hobby to maximize their contribution.
