I just did some research, and i found out that most of the companies that are offering free credit reports for a small fee (yes I said free credit reports for a fee!)are already owned by one of the 3 credit reporting agencies.....I know that all of you are already ahead of me and you already had knowledge of this, but why was i encouraging my customers for the last 3 months to get their credit reports from these companies and they only plan to collect a fee and not even let the consumer know what they can do in order to move themselves out of their particular situation!
I don't know either...but I encourage all of you professionals to stop sending your customers to the credit reporting agencies that are only charging a fee in order to make money and not encouraging your customers to get a credit report from somebody that will actually help them! I know that you already knew that, but for those that didn't, I just want you to learn how to help peoples' credit instead of sending them to the actual agencies even though they don't help your consumers repair their credit! Help your clients as much as you can, and never send them to companies that advertise free credit reports!
