The closer it gets to the holidays we often find ourselves rushed for time or low on budget. What you are about to see are a few Holiday Hacks that may help you meet your deadline for that HUGE Holiday Party or stay within your sticky Holiday Budget.
Snacks:
- Chocolate Dipped Pretzels:
You will need:
Pretzels, Sprinkles, M&M's, Chocolate Chips, Icing
Directions: Dip the pretzels in caramel or chocolate and bedazzle with sprinkles, M&M's, chocolate chips, etc.. then drizzle with icing
2. Grinch Kabobs
You will need:
Grapes, Bananas, Strawberry's and Toothpicks
Directions: Layer the fruit as shown for these cute Grinch Kabobs
3. Reindeer PB&J
You will need:
Bread, Heart shape cookie cutter, Chocolate Chips, Red M&M's & Pretzels
Directions: Make the PB&J like normal, use the cookie cutter to make the heart shape, place the pretzels, chocolate chips & M&M's as shown.
4. Pepperoni Roll Ups
You will need:
Crescent Rolls, Pepperoni's, String Cheese
Directions: Unroll crescent rolls, place pepperoni's on rolls, place string cheese at top of roll & roll it up! Bake at 375 for 10-12 minuets
Crafts:
1. Do you wanna Build a Snowman?
Great idea to send to school with the kiddos, to make on Christmas Eve as a family, or to use as a stocking stuffer!
You will need: Ziplock Bag (Sand-which size), 3 Large Marshmallows, at least 5 pretzels (to be used to hold 3 marshmallows, arms, and nose,) Multiple chocolate chips (to be used as eyes & buttons)
2. Snowman Refrigerator
How cute is this?
You will need: Wrapping Paper, Black & Orange Construction paper, tape and last but not least...the Refrigerator
Directions: Cut the wrapping paper to resemble a scarf & hat, cut out multiple black circles for eyes & buttons then cut out orange Triangle for nose. Tape to the refrigerator.
3. Character Wine Glass / Candle Holder
You will need: Dollar store wine glasses, pipe cleaners, feathers, pom poms, bells, small candles & glitter spray paint(yes, there is such thing)
Directions: BE CREATIVE! Spray Paint the glasses first, let sit for 2 hours, coat the glasses as need be, then decorate as desired!
4. Dish Brush Wreath
You will need: Dollar Store Dish Brush, Green & Red finger paint, Red bow
Directions: Dip the dish brush in the green paint, dab the brush in a circualr direction then, add red dots with fingers and finally add the bow!
Activities:
1. Balloon Pop (New Years)
You will need: Balloons, Sharpie, Paper & Pen

2. Minute to Win It
You will need: Chopsticks for each player, 1 bag of marshmallows, box or bowl to drop marshmallows in.
Directions: Set 60 seconds on the clock. See how many marshmallows you can pick up with the chopsticks within the allotted time. The contestant with the most after 60 seconds wins.
3. Snowball Toss
You will need: 10 Marshmallows & a wreath
Directions: You have 60 seconds to make 10 marshmallows through the wreath. For a more challenging game - place a bowl behind the wreath and try to make it through the wreath and into the bowl with in the allotted time.
4. Christmas Nutcracker
You will need: 8 nuts & 1 candy cane
Directions: You must pick up each nut individually with the candy cane and stack as shown above without the nuts falling over. For a more challenging game - try to complete within 60 seconds.
Gifts:
1. Hidden Money
You will need: 1 mason jar, 1 empty toilet paper roll, 1 bag of M&M's
Directions: Place the empty toilet paper roll in the center of the mason jar. Fill the outside of the toilet paper roll with M&M's. Then place the money in the middle of the toilet paper roll and seal the jar for the "hidden money" look. Easier than it sounds!
2. Christmas Eve Movie Box
Directions: Fill a box with Jammies, popcorn, juice box & a Holiday Movie. Have the kiddos open up on Christmas Eve.

4. Mistletoe's
This is a prefect gift for grandparents or a fun craft to do as a family!
You will need: Blank Canvas & Paint
Directions: Paint the bottom of your feel and gently press against the blank canvas. Use other paint colors to decorate the surrounding blank areas!
