Units Sought for the Gaithersburg St. Patrick's Day Parade

 

The 15th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will wind through the streets of Rio Washingtonian Center on Saturday, March 14 starting at10 a.m. Community groups and other organizations are invited to participate. Past units have included Celtic dancers, bagpipe bands, schools, clowns, fire trucks, equestrian groups, service organizations, and more.

The parade is presented by the City of Gaithersburg in partnership with the Harp and Shamrock Society of Gaithersburg, the Peterson Companies, Rio Washingtonian Center, and 94.7 Fresh FM. Application forms are available here.

We used to have one in our little town for St. Patricks Day. I used to dress up The Princess Mama and we would be in the parade. SO many good memories. I hope you get to go! :)
