If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say this...maybe I'll win the lottery and all my problems will be solved. Many of us have had this fantasy at one time or another but lets be realistic about this, shall we...

First of all, you can't win if you don't play. Second, if you can't pay your bills where are you going to get the money to play...Third, the chances of actually winning the lottery and being "set for life" are something like 1 and a gazillion... you know what I mean! As I am writing this I realized I missed the open auditions for "Deal or no Deal" ...!

For many people, its tough right now. I know we have talked about it, many have had a life changing situation that has made this a struggle to just simply get by. Many of you feel like there is no relief in sigh, many don't understand all of their options.

If you own real estate and struggling to pay your mortgage every month you have options. Many of you are concerned because property values are down, leaving you owing more than your house is worth. You don't have to face this struggle alone, find out what you can do before its to late.

Century 21 Associates Realty in Fall River is sponsoring a FREE Short Sales Seminar on Saturday May 3. This valuable information will answer the questions you may have about foreclosures, short sales & more. You can sign up for this event here or  contact Century 21 at 508-677-3266.

Regardless of your situation, the best way to deal with it is to take action and do something about it. There will always be the option of playing the lottery but you may have to wait a long time for that ship to come in. Lets face it do you really have that time to spare..

Take care,

P.S. If you can't attend our seminar please feel free to contact me for a confidental consultation.

Win the lottery! A friend of mine from high school hit it for 4 million several years back. He's broke, unemployed and divorced. Had it all before the money - family and security that is. Be careful what you wish for. :) It would be nice to "enjoy that financial freedom" just for a day...

The lottery is simply a tax on people who are really bad at math! Love the seminar and good luck with it all.

Hi Monika,

Hopefully we can help get those who need this information.

Hi Greg,

Wow! I have heard stories like this on tv but never knew anyone who actually won, how sad.

Hi Richard,

There are so many people who need our help right now, I hope this helps. :)

Simon,

Where have you been...thanks for chimming in! ;)

Hi Ray,

The best part is we are offering this for free! I have heard so many lately charging a fee for this information. I can't see how that helps those who really need it. Thanks, Ray!

Hi Julie,

I talk to soo many who are struggling and often they do wait until its too late to do anything about it. I hope this helps someone who really needs it. Thanks my friend! :)

Hi Sally,

I love my new office! This seminar will help alot of folks! ;)

Suzanne...

I know this is local but I couldn't resist sharing :)

Around here I see folks trading their food stamps for cash so they can play the lottery.

Do you think there might be something wrong with that picture? :)

I feel that God doesn't answer this prayer because left to my own devices, a big lotto win would probably destroy me. However, I have found that living in the moment is the secret to living at all. Preoccupied with a day coming up months in the future? Hitting your self over the head with the pity bat chanting the unproductive mantra "If Only" or "Should'a-Would'a-Could'a"? Nothing changes if nothing changes. Make a gratitude list and read it each morning. Lotto wishing... It used to keep me going and get me by. But when it stops working, then what?

TLW,

Now thats really sad, but I'm sure it happens. :)

Hi Rob,

Did you see Greg's comment, I'm convinced that winning the lottery doesn't solve problems. Many people just need to know their options, so I'm hopeful that I have found a realistic solution to get the information out there. Thanks for commenting! :)

One of the biggest lottery winners ever is from my county and I can tell you that after seeing his life fall apart, I do NOT want to win!!  (But I do hope Chris Griffith wins!)

A lot of people are in a tight spot right now and will need this information.  Thanks for putting it out there for them.

Hi Sarah,

There are sooo many people who think it will change their lives, but more sad stories lead me to believe not for the better.

I'm hoping this will get them to come out and see what their options are. Thanks :)

Thats a really great idea Suzanne. I bet you get a great response. Helping people at all times throughout their life is important. You will be the agent they remember when things come around in their favor or when they find themselves in the position to recommend an agent.

Suzanne, Funny, I never buy lottery tickets, but did yesterday for some reason?  maybe it is kismet?   Greg's comment is interesting above, the person who did have everything lost it when they "won" the lottery.  True words, be careful what we wish for.  Good luck with your seminar!!
