Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our twentyfourth week! Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
" to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
(Be sure and click on the links in blue.)
This week I started out in Connecticut, but was immediately transported to Aruba! Oh, well, that's okay. It's STILL a new trip for many, including for Ed Silva, who lives in Prospect, CT.
George Souto does a bunch of localism posts for Middletown , CT but I have to say, he outdid himself with his favorite "Christmas Display". I would NEVER want to tackle doing this (or pay for the power to run it!!) Ya gotta love what it takes to make this happen.
We move onto South Windsor CT, a lovely historical town, (founded in 1633!) and Minna Reid makes it sound so charming and quaint that I truly would love to transport myself there! (Maybe not in the wintertime....I'll wait for a warmer season...)
Dagny Eason presents many cool areas in and around Westport, CT, in her consistent posts but in this particular post, she was VERY excited as she caught sight and snuck up on something that she rarely gets to see. She took some beautiful photos, but you will have to go see what she caught. Go, Dagny!!
Thank you, Andrea Swiedler for delivering some really FUN and delightful photos of Litchfield County! I was very excited to find this post. There were so many places I wanted to show you, Mystic, some lakes....some other historic places, but nobody was "delivering the goods" on the photos! Til I found this sweet post. "punk rock cows and old things"...what's not to love about that title alone??
Please don't forget to comment on these blogposts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels. Feel free to join our group:
