As I prepare for a new year on my real estate career, I have decided to cut the excess of my marketing tools and concentrate only on what really works. . 

We all make bad choices sometimes..

If we want  to have MORE  business . ..

we make the mistake of seeking MORE tools. .

When in reality . . .we can all simplify our business to perform more efficiently.  

My efforts this year are generated from these simple principles..

What do I really need and could use it to it's maximum value? 

 

CRM

A Good CRM is fundamental and you should not cut corners on this. One single well timed follow up could be one extra transaction for you.. .enough to pay for a whole year's subscription for a top level CRM product. 

IDX 

Your IDX allows you to control your customer's experience from a to z.

Information for real estate is the ultimate value consumers seek.

Updated, simple and easy to use.

 

Lead Generation Program

Nothing can substitute your personal touch, your number one  lead generation tool is your own  phone,  then comes your charm and finally how quickly and effectively you can overcome objections.

Your #2 choice should be a combination of well tested tools that deliver a constant stream of people so you can call  and convert them...included on this is "smart" blogging. 

 

A Good Camera

This is the window display of your listings...no one will come in to your store and call you if you have crappy pictures. Now more than ever, a picture is really the most important medium to attract buyers for your listings. Don't go cheap on this. A good camera and lenses is a must...or use a professional photographer 

 

Presentations

A single business card does not cut it anymore. You need a well designed brochure about you and  printed presentations specialized  for buyers and sellers alike. 

When you are meeting with a prospective client that could generate thousands of dollars to your GCI ...do you think most real estate agents would spend  a mere $10  for a presentation to wow them over?

The true is that very few have brochures and even fewer come equipped with  nice printed presentations highlighting the client as the principal and your services as the vehicle to achieve their dreams.

I would suggest for you to go and visit a new home construction sales office and get their presentations and other  materials...emulate it  by personalizing it to your own business message ..but don't compromise on the quality. . .

 

Yes, in 2015 less is best

the ones that will keep their  work times accountable

and be disciplined enough to keep track of their numbers ....as religiously as some people I know track their own activerain points in here.
