LightLight has ALWAYS fascinated me. From the earliest of time with the words Let there be light and there was light and it was good, it always made me think of light as a friend. You see this with buyers of homes where they FIND what they are looking for. It is a revelation. Light enters our minds at various points in time in life and we are "enlightened." Sometimes by ourselves, sometimes by others, sometimes by reading, or feeling inside, or seeing it in others.

Light is good. Do not persist in the darkness and stumble. Search for the light. Help others find the light. Walk toward the light. Many metaphors to be sure. But there just is something about the light. It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness. Find light that makes you soar. We all may be searching at various times in our life, whether it be for houses, answers, healing, or truth. Find your light and I bet you will find your inspiration and your way.

Gary, I love the light also.  I love that psalm "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet And a light unto my path" Ps 119:105.

Marchel: That is one of my favorite passages too and I love the popular song that goes with that line. One interesting thing about Jose Feliciano and the song from the Doors using light as a verb, is he is blind. The blind sometimes can express better about and more passionately about light than those that see. We've heard that story many times haven't we?

Liz: There I go deep thinking again I guess. This idea was in my head today and I had to let it out. Some days are like that.

Patricia: I think the energy (the light) put out by those buyers is transferred to us invigorating us. It is some kind of circle in life.

Hi Gary, you ought to put this post in the contest they are haing over on the two groups, Jo's Inspiration, and Sally's Weary Soul, you could add a little and call it "Spring is learning how to find your light :)".  We all need to find our light, what inspires us, motivates us and fills our soul! candle

There is something in our biology that makes us respond positively to light. Depressions intensify during the darkness of winter and dissipate with spring and summer's sunlight.

Mark: Even moths are attracted to the light.

Liz: I'll look into those contests. Thanks for your candle.

Rosario: Great observation about seasonal affective disorders. Good thing winter and its darkness don't last too long.

Gary: There is only a step between the darkness and light. But it seems to be the hardest to take. Beautiful post.

Arina: Unfortunately, Light came into the world, but some people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil. It is sad. But it is also a choice, our free will. Each of us has to make our own response to the light. I love your Benjamin Franklin quote. Now there was a wise man early in our country's history.

Gary, I once gave a lesson to the youth group at our church about light; one of the coolest things we used as an illustration was a large spot light... It was amazing what that light "revealed"; all the dust, lint & particles in the air that we normally wouldn't see.  Light enables us to see and encourages us to change..  Thanks again, my friend!

Don: As the light was brighter you even saw MORE stuff. Very cool, and a great lesson for the class.

Gary~I feel so repetitive with you in my comments, but you truly put a smile on my face and the warmth in my heart when I read your blog.  I can't help but think of the many, many people that you are blessing each and everyday by sharing so much of what is in your heart. How grateful I am to be a part of that. Thank you my friend.

Gary - Thanks for sharing your "light" with us.  One of my goals is to be a "light" for others and I always learn a lot from you.  To tie it in with real estate a well-lit home always shows better and creates a positive feeling for buyers.  Keep your light shining, Gary.

Gary: I think you need to put all your posts in an ebook. This is truly an inspiration. I have work to do, but I don't want to leave. I will be back.
