The end of week 11 of the home improvement saga brought more workers and the near completion of this huge project. As you can see to the right, the staircase guys came in and worked all day putting the finishing touches on the staircase. All it needs now is some touch up paint that will be done after the holidays.
I was in the house most of the time these guys were working and I never heard anything out of them. I came upstairs from my office and they were finishing up. What a difference these 
part of the renovation made with new stair treads, sanded, stained, and finished, along with new wrought iron balusters to replace the original white wood ones.
The very next day the carpet guys came in. They arrived about noon and finally finished up around 9pm. It was a long day for them, but the new carpet looks great! In my final post after the holidays, I will show finished pictures of the work done along with a list of the companies I used for the work done. Without exception, I would recommend each and every one of them. For now, have a happy holiday and I will report back soon!
