Still sailing on the happy seas created by the Fed's Open Market Committee actions last week and aided by positive winds from European bourses, stock futures set out on a decidedly positive course this morning.  The Dow gained nearly .9% as it closed up 154 points.  Oil closed at right about $55. per barrel as exchanges began thinning out in advance of the Christmas holiday.

$55 a barrel !  I was in awe this morning when my tank filled up prior to hitting the amount I had given the counter person.  Ahhh Merry Christmas indeed.  Mark

Those of us in the retirement mode are happy to see market improvements. I was happy to see that my investment advisors were number on on the Bloomberg list. I use Wetherby Asset Management in San Francisco.
