Clearwater Florida - Well after catching wind of the recent Active Rain video contest I couldn't wait for my new FlipVIdeo to arrive.
Today the UPS man made my day - my new FlipVideo arrived in time for me to shoot some local Clearwater neighborhoods when showing homes to a buyer this afternoon. Check out this Clearwater Florida neighborhood near Plumb Elementary.

Keene Acres one of Clearwater's Best Neighborhoods
Keene Acres is a non-deed restricted Clearwater neighborhood of lovely homes located south of Lakeview and North of Nursery road with Keene Road to the west and Hercules to the east.
This Clearwater neighborhood is made up of mostly 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage homes and 2 bedrooms, 2 bath 2 car garage homes. Being able to walk to the elementary school is a big draw for many home buyers. There is also a park on the corner where Hercules and Lakeview meet.

Hi Cyndee - how do you like that camera? From what I've read on various posts, it sure sounds easy to use - did you find that as well?

Ann, I really missed the contest deadline - but wanted to play around and it inspired me - the camera is truly so EASY a cavewoman can do it - lol. The most exciting thing for me is that the upload time was 5 minutes versus my other camera - it took 6 hours to upload a 1.5 minute client testimonial - 5 minutes versus 1000 minutes - it's a no brainer :) Now I wish I'd had it originally - from now on I will.
Can't wait to pimp them out with the new Mixpo from ActiveRain - stay tuned!!

I had a sneak preview on twitter last night ! Lots of sneak previews there, like Brad Andershon coming to acitve rain. You did good, we were definately having a hard time getting on the same page last night. LOL

Hi Cyndee, I spoke with you maybe a month ago re: The Tomato and starting a blog site. I actually now have 2 blog sites that I put together. I did not go with the Tomato at this time. I don't know yet maybe I should. I thought I'd try it myself first. Anyway, I always love your posts. This Flip Video sounds great I think I'll give it a shot. Cyndee, Haven't gotten the flip yet. What was that noise in the video...wind? I assume that you feel that it better than any of the other cameras that have video? What is your take on it?
Cool! New camera, yay--I still miss my little old Casio, but it wasn't good for videos. Try the Montage maker at One True Media, Cyndee--I think you'll like it!
Did you have your camera mounted to something like a mini tripod? It looked really smooth. My first attempt at my flip video was alot more motion than you had. I'm sure practice has alot to do with it too.
Cyndee, where did you upload this video too? I have a flip video and cannot get it to upload to youtube, and there is another post asking for help. HOW did you get it to upload? I can't even find a browse button on youtube...or did you use aol?
