Yesterday I had a lot of activity in my home. A door to my garage was changed and any number of door knobs and locks were replaced. I can't tell you how good I feel about these things. The former knobs were brassy, and left from another time. The new ones are muted and go with my home, built between 1795 and 1800. It's a little thing but I just love it. Additionally, I had fittings replaced around the radiators and there is staining and sanding happening in my garage too. The small things make me happy.
