Single family homes took a little dip in prices in the first half of 2006, but came raring back the second half of 2006 to a new historic high in prices and an increase in homes sold.  January single family home sales continued to show growth in average prices. 

Kailua condos and townhouses showed some slowing in 2nd half of 2006, but appears that the prices were rebounding in January 2007.

The below figures include both fee simple and leasehold properties.  These are only the totals and averages.

For those not familiar with Hawaii real estate.  Fee Simple refers to properties that you own both the land and imporovements.  Leasehold you buy the improvements and lease the land, usually for a period of many years.
